Nathan & I did a bit of traveling yesterday: initially to Sartell, where we
enjoyed a Varied Thrush that's been coming to a feeder (Lisa is a most
gracious host); then to Dakota County, seeking the Gyrfalcon in vain for 2.5
hours (although enjoyed the birders we ran into, thanks for letting us tag
along, Herb & Ron), finally to Black Dog, where we had looks at two airborne
Iceland Gulls. The day was beautiful, Nathan netted two life birds, and we
have a great start on our year list.

Good birding to all!
