Greater White-fronted Geese and Ross' Goose
at South Landfill Reservoir.
Tundra Swans were there earlier today, may still
be in area feeding, while I was there the White-fronted's
came in low from the south so I'm thinking
they're feeding in a field not visible from 14th St NW.
The field is probably visible from US 14 but that's way too
dangerous to check.
Franklin's Gull at Silver Lake for the past couple days,
wasn't there at 3:30 this afternoon but it was there
yesterday at 6PM.

My father thinks he had a female Pine Grosbeak at
his feeder on Tuesday afternoon/evening. I did not see the bird
though I looked for an hour yesterday.
He can't find anything else that matches what
he saw in Sibley/Nat'l Geo or Peterson guides...
from his verbal description of the bird it
sounds to me as if it may have been.
Or it may not have. He's better with game birds
than non-game birds.
