1932SummerT\rc nests of this crepuscular bird were found, both with 2 eggs. One \ras found by Huseby on June 13th, and the other by Breckenridge on Jt:cc 23rd. ~ 25
1933Summer The only reported nest of this crepuscular b~rd was found by Hanson near Ely on June 8th. It consisted of t,ho usual 2 eggs.
1934Summer Throe young Common Nighthawks attain the distinction of being ~entioned in these pages. The first wo.s found by 1>11-s. E. o. vlilson near Montevideo on tho 12th of July. After an intensive search this youngster, not over four inches long, was located resting acid, and looking very much a part of, the surrounding vegetation. Entirely oblivious of tho honor of being found by a m~1ber of the M.B.c., tho drab little fellow just sat there motionless until he was touched, whereupon he rove~led his hitherto hidden energy by slightly raising an eyelid. Two other half-grown young found by Hnnson in St. Cloud on July 13th r.mst have como i'ron a line of intellectuals, for their interest in higher education had gained expression in the location of their hot1e on tho roof of the Cathedral High School.
1935Summer Dobie saw 2 eggs near Park Rnpids June 11th, and at Lake Pokeg~ June 24th. Mahle saw a set of 2 eggs. Brec!:enridge is third ~:.. with a record of 2 young mosquito hawks seen Ju:J..y 6th, rutd Hrs. Peterson is last with 2 young scc.n.J-u:cy-9th at Halkor.
1936Summer The earliest date comes from Bert Hawkins at \fuitofish Lake. He found a nest of two eggs. Arnold Erickson snw two large l'Olln£! in Pine County on June 15th. On June 22nd he found a nest of two eees.
1937SummerD. Struthers found two eggs on June IO. Marius Morse, in the Cloquet Valley Forest, found two bull­bat's eggs on June 24.
1938SummerYoung Night Hawks, just able to fly, were seen by E. D, Swedenborg at Minneapolis on June 12. At Granite Falls on August 4, W. J. Breckenridge and R. M. Benhel found 2 nests, one with 2 eggs, the other with 2 downy young.
1940SummerDr. Lakela discov­ered a nest with 2 eggs on Beck's Road near Duluth on June 16. The nest was empty on June 25. Warren H. Nord and the writer observed a young night­hawk on the University Campus, May 20.

1961SummerA. C. Rosenwinkel reports adult sitting on two eggs on roof of St. Paul Central Lutheran School, 20 June. On 4 July, he saw young peeking out from beneath parent's wing. SWIFTS:
1961FallApparently moved out in several large waves. On 20 Aug. near Camp Ajawah, Anoka County, Avifaunal Club members saw a flock of more than 100 moving south. About a month later, on 22 Sep., A. C. Rosenwinkel saw 30 or more, apparently the last of a large flock, in St. Paul. A smaller but concentrated group was seen in Minneapolis on 8 Oct. by R. Huber and W. R. Pieper. ;

1963FallOn Aug. 19 a flight of phenomenal size passed over Duluth. The flight was estimated to be two miles wide and Ray Naddy estimated that 1000 passed overhead in 5 minutes, during the peak. Subsequent to the peak, P. B. Hofslund counted over 6000 for the remainder of that day. On Aug. 21 a second flight took place but only of one-quarter to one-third the size of the first flight. Latest date, Oct. 12, Hennepin Co., R. L. Huber.
