1930SummerA Least Flycatcher was seen billding by Charles Evans on May 24th, but the first nest containing eggs was not found until June 4th, when Stanley Stein saw one at Shakopee containing two eggs. A nest found by Gustav Swanson at Deer Riber on June 13th held four eggs and Marius Morse saw young birds out of their nests at Glenwood on June 18th.

1932SummerA nest with 4 C€BS was found at Swan Lake, Ma.y 28 (Dobie). Swedenborc f ound the latest nest, which housed large young on July 17. The folloilinC interesting quotations is froo the pen of Ralph Woolsey, fron Fnrao, N.D. "Another nest cf the Least was unexpectedly disccvored on June 28. The excited cries of the little flycatcher caused ne to l cok upward, where I beheld a pestiferous English Sparrow calnly pecking holes in the cm::;s of the Least, who was trying her best to chase the intruder a.way, I did considerable shouting and throwing of dcb:cis befcre the villain left, Then the flycatcher cocly ronovod the brckon eggs fron the nest, 0leaneG it out, and settled herself in it for bettor or for worse. The nest was exmJinec the next day, but the birds hnd apparently been visited again, f(T it was deserted and sadly in disrepair. "
1933Summer The little Chobec finds his way into the list 11rith twenty-one nests to his credit, Morse fotmd a newly-built nest with no content 'at Mille Laos on May 28th., The first investigated nest with eggs was found by Grimes in Pennington County on June Sth, The oontcnt was one egg. He also reports an unfinishoc1 nest for the same locality found on June 21st. The last ~est with eggs was found by Risser at Sturgeon Lake on, J~e 19th --contents, 3 eggs. 1934Summer Of tho tk~Y nests of this demure, hoarse-voiced little flycatcher roportod, the earliest and one of the nest interesting was !cund by Hicnenz on Juno 1st nt Big \vo.t.a.b LD.ko. It hold 2 Brown-headed Cowbird eggs only, and the flyc~tcher wns incubating then~ The latest nest was found by Prosser nnd the Swedcnborgs near C~bridgc, Isru1ti County, on July 15th. It contained st1all young.
1935Summer Prosser found 4 fresh eggs JU."'le 13th at Linwood Lc.ke, and Swedenborg found the sane number the noxt dny nenr Excelsior. In western Minnesota, Mrs. Petcrs~n saw o. adtut incubo.ting as lo.te as July 14th. Tho ln.st nest, con~o.ining 4 young, was found by Breckenridge July 16th.
1936Summer Bird club members at Linwood Lnke discovered an early nest of the cllininuti ve Chebec on June 14th when it hold one snow white egg. Three days later the ever active Robert Upson located a nest of three eggs. George Rysgaard found a female incubating a nest of eggs on July 7th at Sturgeon Lake.
1937SummerAt Madison ch~becs were "feeding young and incubat­ing on June 23" (Mrs. C. E. Peterson). On May 22 G. Rysgaard found a com­pleted but empty nest at Fontenac. Marius Morse saw a nest that held four young, one of which was dead, on July 14, in Cloquet Valley.
1938SummerThe first nest of this species was observed on June 5 at Lake V ermillion by Prosser and Swedenborg; it held 4 eggs. At Walker on June 9, M. Thompson found 2 nests with eggs; on June 25, also at Walker, he found a nest' with 3 young.
1940SummerMany re· ports came in for this species. L. Hackl, C. Hero and LeRoy Haglund of Duluth all reported nests with young during the last week of June on the D. S. T. C. campus. Wynn Mahle found a nest of 4 eggs on June I5 at Burntside Lake. G. Rysgaard reported 2 nests with young at Sturgeon Lake, and the T. S. Roberts Club also reported 2 nests, each contain· ing 2 eggs.

1961SummerA nest containing four eggs and one Brown-headed Cowbird egg was found by H. Huber near Felton on 17 June. Miss Ellen Jonas reports a total of 5 nests, all but one of which contained young, at Camp Oak Hills between 4 May and 3 July.
