1995Fall All reports: 9/6 Agassiz N.W.R., Marshall County PS, SB (The Loon 67:246–247); 9/16 Waroad lagoons, Roseau PS (The Loon 67:251); 10/5–6 Park Point, St. Louis County MH et al. All three birds were juveniles.
1996FallFour reports of five birds: 9/27–10/4 Waterville, Le Sueur Co. (2) WS, mob; 10/5 Goodhue BL, 10/20 Ortonville, Big Stone Co. LE (The Loon 69:47–48); 10/29 (latest date ever) Fox Lake, Martin Co. SDi. All birds were juveniles, as expected. [Corrected]
1998Fall Only report: 9/24 St. Louis (two juveniles off Park Point) mob. These two plus two more initially had been found on the Wisconsin side of the Superior Entry.
2000Fall Unprecedented total of 26 birds (3 adults, 23 juveniles) in two separate flocks 9/23 on Minnesota side of the Superior Entry in Duluth, St. Louis County, with one still present next day †PHS. These were probably the same as 19+ Sabine's off Wisconsin Point 9/21–22 (CLW, TRS et al.). Two more juveniles 10/9–15 Wilkin (Breckenridge lagoons) †PHS, mob, were record late north (The Loon 73:128–129).
2001Fall Many unsubstantiated reports 9/14–24 St. Louis (Superior Entry and/or Park Point, Duluth); documented 9/16 (2) †CRG (The Loon 74:119–120), 9/19 (2) †JJS. Juvenile also seen 9/21 Stearns (Paynesville lagoons) †HHD (The Loon 74:120).
2003Fall Single juveniles 8/30 Red Lake (Red Lake Falls W.T.P., ties record-early date for state) ph. †PHS, JMJ (The Loon 76:107–108 9/20 Cass/Itasca (L. Winnibigoshish) †PHS (The Loon 76:110–111), 10/1 St. Louis (Duluth) †PHS.
2004Fall Single juveniles at Duluth, St. Louis County 9/15 (Park Point) †MH, 9/22 (Park Point) †MH, 9/24–26 (Superior Entry) †MTA, †MH et al. (The Loon 77:116) the latter two possibly the same individual. First county record 9/16–21 Crow Wing (Ironton W.T.P.) †JEB; also documented by ph. JSB, †CBr, †PHS.
2005Fall Most reports ever in one season. Record-high count for Minnesota and the Great Lakes Basin 9/16 St. Louis (60–70 at Park Point, Duluth, including at least 5 adults, The Loon 78:118–119) †MTA, JWB, †PHS; at least two lingered through 9/18 DOK, MLH. Juveniles also reported off Park Point 9/4 (1) †PHS, BWF, 10/1 (2) †MTA, †MLH, †DTT, †SMT, ph. JG, ph. SBM. First county record 10/22 Cook (juvenile at Grand Marais, latest north date) †CCB. All south reports: 9/17 Lac qui Parle (juvenile at Salt L.) †KRE et al., 9/26–28 Dakota (Hastings) BRL, ph. †LAK, †TEB, ph. TPB, †ADS.
2006Fall North reports from St. Louis 9/10 (Superior Entry) †PHS, 9/20–23 (4 birds at Park Point) DWK, JWL, JPM, †KRE, †PHS, m.ob. Only south report: 9/9 Brown (Sleepy Eye W.T.P.) ph. †BTS, RJA. All were juveniles.
2007Fall34 More reports than usual, especially from southwestern Minnesota. 2014Fall First fall with no reports since 2002.

2016Fall14 Thirteen individuals reported, most as singles. All birds were aged as first-cycles, except that 9/28 report was not aged.
