This is the Duluth Birding Report for March 21st, 2013 sponsored by the Minnesota Ornithologists' Union.
A male VARIED THRUSH is being seen daily by Alison Clarke in her yard at 226 Ridgewood Road in east Duluth. Birders are welcome to search for this bird.
Cindy Edwardson saw a flock of 20 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS on the 17th on Lakeview Road in the Woodland neighborhood of Duluth.
Erik Bruhnke saw two GLAUCOUS GULLS on the 17th at the Knife River marina. Erik also reported migrating BALD EAGLES, GOLDEN EAGLES and RED-TAILED HAWK at Wisconsin Point on the 21st.
