GREAT GRAY OWLS continue to be common, with more than fifteen birds seen in Roseau, Lake of the Woods and Beltrami counties, as well as in the Angle Inlet area over the past week.

A VARIED THRUSH is still present at Gertie Carter's feeders in Roseau County as of the 7th.

Four NORTHERN HAWK OWLS and a BOREAL OWL were observed on the 3rd along Hwy. 72 in Beltrami County along the bog stretch, north of Waskish and south of Lake of the Woods CR 77.

A SHORT-EARED OWL was seen in St. Vincent Township of Kittson County on November 25th.

Kay Hartness reported 25 EVENING GROSBEAKS at her feeders on Cotton Lake in Becker County on the 7th.

Joe Gartner observed a GREAT BLUE HERON at the Regional Science Center in Clay County on the 7th.

Shelley Steva saw a RUSTY BLACKBIRD in Thief River Falls, Pennington County, on the 5th.

The Jordahls continue to have a NORTHERN CARDINAL at their feeders near Pelican Rapids in Otter Tail County.

Other birds reported this week included COMMON GOLDENEYE, BALD EAGLE, MOURNING DOVE, WHITE-THROATED SPARROW, PINE GROSBEAKS, RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH, BROWN CREEPER.
