GREAT GRAY OWLS and NORTHERN HAWK OWLS are still present and being seen in good numbers in Beltrami, Koochiching, Lake of the Woods and Roseau Counties. Check for birds along Highways 1, 89, 310, 71 and 72 in these counties, as well as the Red Lake WMA and Beltrami Island State Forest.

A report from Lake Bronson State Park in Kittson Co. on the 18th included: HORNED LARK, CEDAR WAXWING and PINE GROSBEAK.

Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge in Marshall Co. reported PINE GROSBEAKS at their feeders this week.

At the Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge in Becker Co. birds reported include BALD EAGLE, NORTHERN GOSHAWK, PINE GROSBEAKS and EVENING GROSBEAKS.

Other birds reported this week were: SHARP-SHINNED HAWK, RED-BELLIED WOODPECKER, BOHEMIAN WAXWING, RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH, NORTHERN CARDINAL, WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS and HARRIS'S SPARROWS.
