The Summer Tanager reported yesterday by Per Johansson was present again
at 8:00 this morning, on the east side of the lake near the Grette
bench. =20
The Cerulean Warbler was viewed from the Nature Center parking lot,
singing near the Porta-Potty. This is the first time I have seen a
Cerulean Warbler at Wood Lake in 12 years of regular visits.
Also observed this morning were numerous Scarlet Tanagers, 17 spp of
warblers including 4 Bay-Breasteds, and a Philadelphia Vireo.
