Hello:
I birded the Sleepy Eye sewage ponds for a couple of hours late this =
afternoon and some of the more unusual ones I found were:
1 Red-necked Phalarope
16 Wilson's Phalarope
15 Eared Grebe
1 Western Grebe
3 Dunlin
3 Sanderling
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Baird's Sandpiper
Least Sandpiper
Spotted Sandpiper
Canvasback
Lesser Scaup
Common Tern
The overall numbers of shorebirds in Brown county is less than I =
remember in recent springs but there have been a nice variety of =
species.
