1930SummerTwo nests were found, the first containing small young, at Frontenac, on June 21st; the other oontaining well-developed young, at St. Paul on June 24th; both by Alden Risser.
1931SummerA nest found June 21st by Donald Fischer contained one cowbird egg only.
1932SummerNo nests of this, common bird were.; found, but I saw yo~g out of the nest being fed on June 24~ I ~
1933Summer Two nests were fottnd, both on June 7th. Swanson observed a nest which was in the process of construction at Nine Mile Creek, near Minneo.polis. Hie11onz foP,ld a nest contnining 1 egg and 1 Brown-headed Cowbird egg nt St. Cloud. his nest was lo.ter deserted.
1934Summer Only one occupied nest of this beautiful bird was roportc~. This was found by members of the H.B,C. expeditiol'l to Linwood (see list under BOB-1-l!UTE) on June 16th. It held one large Brown-headed Cowbird nestling. Hiemenz found several nests before they contained eggs, the first on June 4th at Clearwater being completed but empty.
1935Summer Several observers report on a nest at Linwood, but Prosser's records are most complete. He first se.w the nest June 7th when it was nearing completion. Later he found 2 eggs in it June 12th and 4 eggs in it June 17th.
1936Summer On June 7th George Rysgaard and Alden Risser found two nests at Long Meadow. One held three eggs, and the other held two eggs and one young.
1938SummerOn June I7 Mr. W. J. Breckenridge found a nest that held one Bunting's egg and 3 Cow­bird eggs at Cummingsville, Olmstead County.
1943Summer3 nests, June 28, and August 4 and 11, Highland Park, St. Paul. Bros. Lewis and Pi'Us.
1944Summer5. June 22, two young cowbirds, St. Paul, Hofstead. Four nests noted by Brother Hubert and Brother Pius, from July 25 to Aug. 24, contained young, St. Paul.
1945Summer4 nests with eggs, July 17 to August 22, 1 nest with young, August 31, Ramsey Co., Brother Hubert.

2000Fall Most departed the north by the first week of September, but several lingered later, including 10/1 Cass MRN, 10/16 St. Louis FN. Late south 10/9 Hennepin TAT, 10/14 Winona JJS.
2001Spring Reported from 36 south and 15 north counties. Early south (median 5/5) 4/28 Yellow Medicine BRL, 4/29 Houston KAK and Lac qui Parle FAE, 4/30 Fillmore NBO. Arrived north (median 5/11) 5/3 Kanabec BLA, 5/6 Kanabec CAM, 5/10–14 in seven counties.
