1930SummerThe farthest north nest of this speeies ever found in Minnesota was located by Gustav Swanson neo.r Deer River, on June 12th, with four eggs. A nest with three eggs on May 17th, near Shakopee was the earliest reported, and no really late nests were tound.
1931SummerFirst nest found by Ralph Woolsey, on May 31st but conten.ts unkno'Wil; a nest with three,Oggs and a cowbird eggs on June 20th (Risser and D. Fischer). Young in nest 30 feet from ground, near Hontivideo, 1'1innesota (Mrs. Peterson), on J"Lme 28th.
1932SummerThe first nest was located on May 22nd,.. and contained 1 egg. A nest with 4 eggs was seen at Swan Lake on June 15th (Dobie).
1933Summer Two nests were seen. The writer found the first on Nay 2oth near Shakopee. ·The contents were 2 eggs which hatched on June 1oth, A nest which the young were just leaving was s1een by Cummings near Red Wing on July 4th. OLIVE-BACKED THRUSH Swedenborg found a nest of this bird at the Br·ule River, Cook County, on June 24th. It contained 3 young about 3 days old and 1 ~~atched egg~. This find is significant, as it is one of the few nests of the Olive-backed discovered in the state.
1934Summer Tho earliest ncstsof this soul-stirring songster '1ore found by Risser and Rysgaard on June 3rd. Of tho two nasts they found, one held 2 eggs and small young, while in the other wc~ro 3 Brown-headed Cowbird eggs and one egg of tho thrush. Mrs. Wilson supplied tho latest record from 11ontevideo, that of a nestling still being fed on July 4th. Prosser found two interesting nests at Afton on ~rr1e 1Ith. Both were in vines about 9 feet from the ground and contained very little mud. They were about 300 feet apo.rt and each contained a Brown-headed Cowbird t s egg besides their respective 4 and 2 thrush eggs.
1935Summer A finished but empty Wood Thrush nest was seen by Swedenborg near Excelsior June 8th.
1936Summer On May 22nd a nest found by Swedonborg held two· eggs. Robert ·Upson discovered two nests on ~y 22pd; one held three eggs; a .Brown-headed Cowbird's ogg and throe eggs of' ·the ·o~er were found in the second nest•. 39 -The Flicker, 1936
1937SummerOn May 31 Mr. E. D. Swedenborg found a nest that held two eggs.
1938SummerOn June 5 D. Struthers found a nest near Afton that held 2 eggs and 2 young. On August r 3, at Minneapolis, Mr. Swedenborg saw a Wood Thrush feeding a cowbird.

Probable nesting in Hennepin.

1999Fall Reported in August and early September from Fillmore, McLeod and Meeker, then only 9/23 Hennepin SC, 9/27 Meeker DF.
2000Spring Observed in 19 south and 6 north counties but only Aitkin in north-central region, and none in southwest or northwest. Arrived within four days of median dates. Early south 4/28 Fillmore NO and Houston DS. Early north 5/5 Kanabec CM.
