1930SummerAlden Risl!ler discovered the only Ovenbird's nest reported, at Frontenac, on June 21st; contents, three fresh eggs.
1931SummerJerome Stoudt found a nest of this species near.\ Tro:tte, Minneso~ Qn July 9th, \o1hen it contained three eggs.
1932SummerThree nests of this bird were found. One seen near Deer River on.June 19th harbored a young Oven-bird, 2 dead young Oven-birds, and one Brown-headed Cowbird. "Stern justice was meted out to the apparent offender, and the remaining Oven-bird left the nest shortly after. 11 (1-loolsey) Another nest was found by Russell.Johnson at Itasca Park, and sheltered 4 eggs on June 28th. The other nest also had 4 eggs, and was found at Ericsburg on July 5th (Swe.nson).
1936Summer A nest of five eggs of the "Teacher Bird" was found by Ken Carlander on May 28th. E. D. Swedenborg saw adults carrying food on June 14th. The following day Erickson discovered a nest of four eggs in Pine County.
1937SummerM. Morse found four eggs in a nest in the Cloquet, Valley Forest on June I8. At Beaver Bay E. D. Swedenborg saw young awing on July 2I.
1940SummerA nest with 3 eggs was reported by Miss Irene Johnson (Duluth) for June 9· Dr. Lakela and Dr. Gray­beal saw a nest with 4 eggs at Sea Gull Lake, Cook Co. on July 6.
1945SummerNest with eggs, May 19, Washington Co., Brother Hubert; nest, 4 eggs, July 11, Itasca Park, William Longley.
1946Summer1 young and 4 eggs, June 22, Lake Co., Mrs. Richard ::-Jorthup. It has only been reported in two of the last six years.
1947Summer1 young, 4 eggs, June 22, Lake Co., Northup.
