Ptu-ple Gallinule: Nov 11, one imm found dead, 18 mi SE of Hibbing St. Louis Co., by a hunter. The specimen was sent to the Museum of Natural History on Minneapolis campus. Although this species is listed on the hypothetical list for our state, all previous records are completely unsubstantiated. Amplifying details will appear in a future issue of The Flicker.

(good details, J. Fitzpatrick).
