Three still present on 6-2 in the St. Louis R. in Duluth with Whistling Swans (D. Olson); if wild, these would represent a first state record; Mute Swans occur in good numbers in the wild in Michigan and strays have occurred several times on the Wisconsin and Illinois side of L. Michigan; these same three swans apparently wandered during 1974 on L. Superior to Wisconsin and Ontario.
