1932SummerThe only spoonbill's nest was found west of Fargo, N. D. by Ralph Woolsey. He found it with 11 eggs on May '29. Soall downy young were also seen.
1935Summer In Anoka County on May 1Sth, Swanson fotUld a Spoonbill nest with 9 eggs. Breckenridge reported later thn.t tho same nest had 1.3 eggs on May 24th. Dr. Roberts• book gives 6 to 12 as tho usual number of eggs.
1940SummerThe single report for the spoonbill was received from C. Ed­ ward Carlson, who found on May 2I, in Martin County a nest with 8 eggs. The nest was later destroyed.

1946Summer11 young, July 23, Wright Co., Barrett. Although the shoveler is said to be one of the most common of our nesting ducks, it has been reported in but two of the last six years.
